Salmon Kings dry out Reign in weekend series

The return to home ice is always a sigh of relief when a team is down and struggling on the road. Last Wednesday, March 11, the Victoria Salmon Kings finally returned home after a month-long road trip and used their home-crowd cheers to tear up the scoreboard and end a five-game losing streak.

Salmon Kings wrangled by Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Wranglers saddled up their current two-game win streak and rode into town last Wednesday to face the Salmon Kings. Looking to lasso up wins during the four-game series in Victoria, they outlasted the Victoria Salmon Kings to take the first game by a score of 4-2.

Salmon Kings silence Thunder

After coming off their dominant 2007-2008 season, the Salmon Kings will try to pick up where they left in their home opener this Friday, Oct. 24, at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
