This year’s UVSS elections period closed in dramatic fashion on March 11, as the unofficial results saw the FuseUVic slate secure wins in each of their respective races.
Director-at-Large Nathan Warner was censured in an 11-3 vote during the March 14 meeting of the UVic Students’ Society (UVSS) Board of Directors. The motion to censure Warner and remove his director privileges was moved by Director of Academics Rajpreet Sall, who chairs Electoral Committee, for “knowingly [breaking] the bylaws of the society by casting more than one ballot” in last week’s UVSS elections.”
