COMICS WORKSHOP

Join local comic artist Gareth Gaudin, best known for Perogy Cat, for his drawing workshop suitable for aspiring artists young and old. Using the museum galleries as a background, Gareth will discuss how to build strong stories and illustrate them in interesting and compelling ways.

CANADIAN MARIJUANA LAW PANEL FEATURING MARC EMERY

Marijuana activist Marc Emery joins a panel of representatives from B.C.’s law, medical, and political communities to discuss marijuana laws and legalization. The panel discussion will be moderated and will feature audience-submitted questions while exploring the nuances of marijuana law from the perspective of enforcement, public health, and legislation.
