UVic athlete makes big waves
UVic swimmer Nicholas Sinclair has earned the CIS Athlete of the Week and the CanWest Rookie of the Year honours. Sinclair had a week to remember when he closed out January at the CanWest championships. He medalled six times, including wins in the 400 m IM, 200 m butterfly and the 200 m and 100 m backstroke events, setting a UVic school record in both the 100 and 200 m backstroke.
