Organized by Surfrider Foundation Vancouver Island Chapter, the 2nd annual Paddle out for public acccess happened in Jordan River on October 17, 2010, on a beautiful sunny day.

The Land Conservancy was there to inform, bring awareness and raise money to purchase Jordan river beach to protect it from development.

The Surfriders Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection of the world's oceans and beaches, through conservation, activism, research and education.
