I appreciate the frustration felt by some students attempting to obtain a same-day appointment at the Academic Advising Centre during the first two weeks of September. That frustration, however, does not justify the widely inaccurate and dishonest piece of “reporting” that appeared under the heading “Academic Advising gets failing grade” in the Oct. 7 Martlet.

Protesters fight war of images

Finally, ordinary Americans have picked the right medium to convey their political message: they’re fighting images with images. Although not a resolution to the war in Iraq, promoting understanding and exerting solidarity is definitely a step in the right direction.
