Dogs help alleviate students’ stress

Canine companions comfort a contiguous queue of cram-committed scholars in the Cadboro Commons building. The pups visited the Commons as part of UVic’s De-Stress Fest — an assortment of stress-releasing events that took place on campus Nov. 27–29. Students flocked to the Campus View Room on Nov. 28 for two hours of doggy playtime. The dogs came from various locations, including the Pacific Animal Therapy Society, Broken Promises Rescue and Citizen Canine Dog Owners Association.
